Your voice races through me like rapids over a waterfall
Je suis fatigué et malade ):
Today I had an operation and have multiple bruises in my arms.
But I'm glad it's over.
Hopefully they find out what's wrong with me.
Yesterday was grand fun :)
I travelled up the mountain to Elands with two amazing people who I think I might just be learning to trust.
We dipped in the mountain streams, at the rapids, (which is practically a water fall, placed at a 45 degree angle and then left so the water cascades down the rocks) and then had a lovely bubble bath.
Quite squishy, I don't think bathtubs were designed for two big boys and a smallish female. But fun, with two pretty candles and warm all the same.
But I also found out my camera was stolen when our home was broken into the other week, which is why I haven't been able to find it ):
I feel like I've been missing a big part of me for the month I haven't been able to find it. I keep thinking of all these photos and angles I'd like to try, and I haven't got a decent camera to try them out.
BUMMERFACE.
I guess I have to look at the bright side, that I can probably afford the new fujifilm 12 mega pixel with the insurance money. But I am missing my lovely SLR and assorted lenses + all my formal photos that I had lazily forgotten to upload and save to my computer.
Rest in peace photos.
You were lovely at the time.

You have to remember
one: whoever shows up are the right people.
two: whatever happens is the only thing that could have.
three: whenever it starts is the right time.
four: when it's over, it's over.

Passenger.
My friend Jasper introduced me to this band 'Passenger' that he had heard while at Pete's Ridge - a New Years festival.
I have to say, I am in love. Not with Jasper or the festival, obviously. But this simple, honest music feels like it's reading out something my heart should've spoken a long time ago. I just wish the songs went for longer. And perhaps that I learnt how to whistle.
"Pour the Petrol Can
Round this Caravan
and watch the flames take all you own"
xx

Layers and Photoshop.
As I was looking through randy blogs like I do everyday I found some really beautiful layered images.
I like how they add depth to a simple picture and it really makes you able to say something without trying too hard to get it across.
So I've been playing around with my photoshop (Corel Paint Shop Pro X2) and kinda taught myself how to do layers. I'm only learning but I thought you might like to see what I came up with.
Then while on a friend of a friend's facebook, I got inspired by her mother naturey photos and came up with the following. I just haven't asked her permission or shown her the final result, because honestly, I don't know how she'lll respond. So technically, for all all intents and purposes, this image doesn't exist :')
